MR. Alok Ranjan

Co-founder and CEO, Tauran Advisors

Alok Ranjan is a CEO & Co-Founder at Tauran Advisors, a Bangkok based strategy & management consulting firm that supports multilateral development agencies (MDAs) such as the World Bank, UNICEF, UNDP and public and private organizations in Asia and Africa, focusing on digital transformation, digital capacity, market research, and marketing & sales transformation advisory.

In his past stints, Alok has served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Anunta Technology and Head Digital Marketing & Communications at Tata Communication Transformation Services. In his 20+ years of experience he has led several other leadership roles across global technology firms, including ITC Infotech, Essel Group, and as in advisory capacity at Avasant Consulting USA. He has led joint GTMs with leading technology giants such as the Microsoft, Google, AWS, VMware, and Citrix.

Alok has been recognised among the Top 100 Most Innovative MarTech Leaders for 3 years (2022, 2021, 2020) in a row by the World Marketing Congress. He has also received CMO of the Year Award by Enterprise IT world magazine. He has featured as Jury for industry leading Marketing awards, including Sparkies Award, Brandmasters, and BrandTrail by DMA Asia.

As a consultant to the MDAs, Alok has been advised in projects in African, European, and Latin American nations on investment promotion, impact sourcing, and digital fundraising strategy.

Alok has published and is featured in several articles and thought pieces in leading magazines, including Dataquest, Silicon India, Times of India, The Hindu Business Line, Construction Week, Informa Markets, CXO Tv, IT VAR News, Cybermedia, Consultants Review, and Social Samosa, etc.

He is a Half-marathoner and Certified fitness, nutrition, and yoga coach.

Alok holds an MBA from the Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli.
