Incubation and Funding

Selected startups are provided incubation and funding support at Amrita TBI. The duration of incubation is 2 years. Funding is provided to prospective startups through loan/equity. The quantum of funding is up to INR 1 Crore. Funding for startups is provided through

  • EIR

Amrita TBI also works with angel and VC funds in India that can invest in startup companies.

Co-Working Space

Amrita TBI offers both physical and virtual incubation. Co-working spaces located at three prime locations of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham campuses- Amritapuri, Coimbatore & Bengaluru offer the following facilities:

GST Exemption

GST exemption for services provided by an incubatee upto a total turnover of fifty lakh rupees in a financial year subject to the following conditions :

  • the total turnover has not exceeded fifty lakh rupees during the preceding financial year; and
  • a period of three years has not been elapsed from the date of entering into an agreement as an incubatee
